I just noticed it's raining!

I'm waiting for Davey to get home from work and I started this new blog and was trying to think of a title when I looked out the window and saw that it's pouring rain and I didn't even know it! Crazy weather! Ohh.. there's a guy walking with a backpack on in this downpour. Poor guy.. he doesn't seem to be too fazed by it, but looks a little more hunched than he would probably normally walk. I think I'd carry the back pack over my head if I were him.. but I'm not... he probably figured out it was raining quite awhile before me anyway.

So.. I am going to attempt to post a few pictures again! Let's see what happens!

OHhhhhhhhhhhhh it worked today! YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! So yeh, here's a few pictures from one of our beach days :)

We're still here!

Te he... so.... I still haven't done anything to try to create a photo album or anything, but I have a few minutes while Dave's doing a bit of a water change in Sonny's tank to write a bit so I thought I'd better say HI!!

Things are going great here! The weeks seem to be flying by.. which is nice.. but a little scary at the same time. Here I go analysing, but I like the weeks to fly by because I like the weekends and not having to work and Dave not having to work.. but then the weekends fly by even faster because they're shorter and fun.. and then life is this big spiral of really fast days, anticipating weekends and then anticipating the next weekend.. and soon life will have passed me right by! Anyway.. this weekend Dave has been planning John's stag! They're going camping, so that should be fun! Next weekend is the wedding!!!!!! So crazy and exciting for John and Kristyna. There will be another Mrs. Wooster YAY! The only thing I'm not looking forward to are two night the next two weekends without Dave!! He's sorta like Jumbo Love... at least I'll still have Jumbo Love though...

The past few weeks we've gone out to where Wooster's are renting right on the river (only until the end of the month and then they're moving to town though!) and there's this beautiful beach.. I feel like I might have posted about this already but now I can't remember. We've gone a few more times anyway and it's our own private sandy beach and it's so nice!!!!! So that's been fun.

Dave's been on call this week but he's gotten off of work on time or even EARLIER than normal! It's been awesome!

So, Sonny somehow aquired this weird "Slime Disease" where he basically was covered in this grey slime over his scales and eyes and he couldn't really see.... it was really sad.. we thought he was going to die, but we looked it up online (isn't the Internet amazing?) and found out what we thought it was and went to the pet store and they had stuff for it! So we just finished the treatments and he looks 85% better.. maybe a little more.. so we think he's going to be okay! Poor little guy! He's such a great fish and we've grown quite attached to him!

Okay, now I'm really getting irritated with the whole picture thing... I was trying to upload a picture of Sonny and it says it's uploaded and added to my post.. but it's NOT! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR What's wrong with this thing?!

I've wasted too much time trying to get something to work so I can post more than four or five pictures on here at a time. I think I need to sign up to a photo album on a different site and link to it.... I was trying to use this integrated blogger and hello feature with Picasa2 but you can only post 1 picture at a time with Hello and only 3 or 4 with the Blog This feature. WHY!??! Stupid thing! I suppose technically I could post them one at a time but that seems like it would look a little silly to have 19 pictures posted all the way down. *sighs* I need to make Dave something for dinner for when he gets home but I just want to get this set up! I guess I should delete the stupid Hello program! I hate signing up for something and then not using it anyway.. then they've got info on me and I'm not even using it. Doh. Anyway... still working on getting the pictures to work. It would be super easy if our website was working then I could just link back there! But John says there's nothing he can do on his end. So sad :o(

My cousin Stacey's wedding was beautiful. Very casual, but nice :) All the family was there, so that was pretty cool too! My parents brought both dogs (Zoey and Nacho) and Nacho ended up being VERY SICK and having to go to the vet in Chilliwack and was put on intervenus! Thankfully he is perky and lively again, but my family missed half of the wedding reception taking him to the vet!

Now I can't remember what I put in the first post, but I don't know if I mentioned that we went with Stacey and Karyn to go see Superman at the iMax and it had 20 minutes of 3D!! It was pretty cool!!! Karyn has a picture of us all in our funky 3D glasses, so I'll have to get that picture from her later.

Sunday we went to Church with Stace and then met Karyn, Rob, and Cynthia for lunch. We had a really nice time even though we had to wait for EVER for a table! And they asked if we would mind being seperated.. and we were like.. uh YES! Since we didn't really NEED to be eating out, it was for the SOCIAL aspect of it! SHEESH! Anyway, once we got our table and go to eat, everything was good :)

Then after lunch we decided to "quickly" hit Winners/Homesense but of course I take forever in there.. so we ended up having to RUSH to Purdy's so Stacey could get her dad's birthday present and that was fun 'cause I got to see Karyn's mommy who happened to be working there and I got a Dark Chocolate Mint Meltie Bar *drrrrooooooolls* Thanks Karyn!!! Oh and at Homesense we picked up this large ugly gold mirror with a few gashes in the frame and I decided I was going to fix it up, so I'll post pictures of my adventure with that.

Then Karyn and her mom were driving through to go to Calgary on Thursday and they popped in and visited me!!!!!!!!!! It was so nice to see them and so sweet that I got to see Karyn so much and I didn't even have to go to Calgary! Who woulda thunk it??

I wish I could post more pictures, I hear there's some photo album feature on here that I might have to figure out. Grr I've been trying to use this program called "HELLO" that works with Picasa2 and I'm having no luck with it! I'll just post this anyway.

Okay I'm FINALLY posting again!!!!!

SOOOO much has happened that I was feeling overwhelmed about posting about everything, so I figured I better just sit down and start writing SOMETHING while I wait for Dave to get home from work!

Since I last posted we have been to the coast and back and had a FAAAAAAABULOUS time thanks to Stacey's hospitable-ness. It was so much fun hanging out with Stacey, and Karyn, and Andrew and Michelle for coffe, and Rob and Cynthia for lunch before we left on Sunday. *weeps* I love you guys! You should all move to Salmon Arm okay?? We got there late on Thursday night and Stacey waited up for us even though she had to get up really early for work! Friday morning we hit a few stores and then met up with Karyn and we got to see all her West Coast Trail pictures that she hasn't even put online yet for the rest of you to see *evil laugh* and then we headed off to Ikea and spent a little longer than we'd planned to spend there.. but we ate lunch (Karyn and I both got the kids meal for $2 which included 5 meatballs, gravy, fries, and a drink that had free refills!)

OHhh Dave's home! I'll have to write more later :)
