The "Not" Fair
September 9th-11th Dave and I had an awesome time at the Fall Fair. We had entered about 10 pictures in the photography section and had to buy a 3 day pass to the Fair as part of the entry.. thankfully we got it for half the price. It was really nice to be able to come and go as we wished all weekend. Only problem was NOT ONE of our pictures got any sort of recognition... we were a little devestated, but enjoyed the last two days of the Fair once we got over our disapointment. We hung out with our friends Les and Rita the first night, went to the parade Saturday morning and then took a bunch of the festivities.. the llama obstacle course that we were all excited about turned out to be nothing more than a person WALKING their llama around a small course.. but the Logging competition turned out to be quite fun. There weren't many participants, but Dave knew one of them! Mr. Majaryk? Anyway.. Duane and Kevan should have done the axe toss since they'd had a bit of practice the weekend before!! We were sure to watch this year's Shuswap Idol because Kendal won last year, so we were all into it. The winner of the under 18 catagory was a guy in grade 12 at King's!! So, so far two years in a row the winner has been a KCS grad!! Pretty cool. He's got an amazing voice too!! So powerful.. he did an amazing job of a Josh Groben song. He and Kendal have decided to work together on a few duets to record one with the recording time Kendal won last year.. and they're both planning to try out for Canadian Idol this year! So fun! Anyway... here's a few pictures from the "not" fair (since we didn't win anything :oP)

Well I am glad that you had a good time at the fair, even if your pictures didn't get recognition! But...your blogger beta is not working...I can't comment like normal!!
this is Stacey btw...:) hehe oops forgot to sign it!
You should include the photos you entered in the fair with. I'd like to see :)
I'm with Stacey, as long as she's "anonymous" all the time...I'd love to see the pictures you entered into the fair
Sounds like the axe toss would have been good times...oh well, maybe next year! It will give me time to practice.
